Drinking Water System

The system stores conveniently under the sink and runs to a separate faucet above the sink.

Our drinking water system features a 4-stage filtration process and is able to produce 50 gallons per day.

In many installations we can also run a line to your refrigerator to produce crystal clear ice and great tasting water.

FAQ's

1.  I already have a filter on my fridge, do I really need a RO system?
The type of (carbon)filter on your fridge is only one part of our filtration process. The RO system purifies your water to a much greater degree than a refrigerator filter.

2.  What is the difference between Carbon filtration and RO?
Carbon filtration is mainly used to remove the chlorine taste from your water. RO takes the filtration process up a notch by removing dissolved solids and other contaminants from your drinking water.  It purifies your water while improving the taste!

3. What are dissolved solids?
Dissolved solids refer to minerals, salts, metals, cations or anions dissolved in water.  They do not present any health hazards, but can affect the taste of your drinking water.  We can measure the amount of dissolved solids in the water by using a TDS meter.  Before installation our city water often measures over 400 ppm.  After installation it will often measure around 10 ppm!

4.  How does reverse osmosis work?
Your water passes through Sediment and Carbon filters before passing through the reverse osmosis membrane at a high speed.  The pressure pushes water through the membrane while taking out the less desirable elements.  It sends the good water to your storage tank, and sends the bad stuff down the drain.

5.  What maintenance is involved with my RO system?
Annual filter changes are recommended to ensure high quality drinking water.  Instructions are provided for filter changes or we can professionally service your system annually.

6.  Can the RO system be connected to my refrigerator's ice/water?
In many cases it can be.  Our experienced technicians will find an installation solution for your home.
